INFO: INFO:When I saw the short odds on Enisey yesterday I immediately though it's worth to take Stelmet here as underdogs but at the time I had no time to write a preview and when I saw the odds on Zielona Gora this morning they were already much shorter. However, I still like the away side's chances to leave Krasnoyarsk with a win.
Enisey have always been an unpredictable team. They can defeat teams who are better than them on their day but then lose against really bad sides. This season they don't look like a team that has changed for better and they're just as chaotic as ever. They can score points if transition offence works well but their defence is non-existant and they find it much harder to score when opposition's transition defence does the job well. Generally speaking, Enisey struggles to play against well-organised units - ones like Stelmet.
The Polish rivals are probably not much better than Enisey in terms of individual skills but they have great organisation in their game and they entered this season with big ambitions to wash away the bitterness after the last season. Prior to that they had won three consecutive Polish championships but last season they failed to reach the final losing the semifinal series to Anwil who would later become the new Polish League winners. This season Stelmet looks very competative and their overall season record is 8 wins in 12 games VTB United League and local league games combined. Head coach Jovovic is satisfied with the direction his team's heading and he should be - Zielona Gora seems to be getting better with every game. The losses against Astana and Kalev/Cramo were certainly painful but the team was close to winning on both occasions and both Astana and Kalev are a bit better than Enisey, in my humble opinion.
